Does it pull my hair?
No. The Arc is bladeless — air is drawn in and accelerated through a sealed duct, so there's no exposed rotor for hair to reach. That's the whole reason we built it this way.
Is it loud?
On the lowest setting it reads as background noise — you can hold a conversation, take a call, or wear it in an office without it being the loudest thing in the room. Higher settings move more air and are correspondingly louder.
How long does the battery last?
Runtime depends on the speed you use — the lowest setting lasts substantially longer than the highest. Full runtime figures for each speed are listed on the product page.
How does it charge?
USB-C — the same cable as most modern phones. There's no proprietary dock to lose.
Will it fit my neck?
The collar is flexible and designed to sit on a wide range of adult neck and shoulder sizes. It rests on your shoulders rather than gripping your neck, so it isn't tight.
Can I wear it with long hair?
Yes. Because there are no exposed blades, long hair sits over the collar without risk. Many customers wear it with hair down.
Is it a cooler or just a fan?
It's a fan. It moves air across your skin, which is what makes you feel cooler — the same reason a breeze feels good. It does not refrigerate air, and no honest neck fan does.
Can I take it on a plane?
It has a built-in lithium battery, so it belongs in your carry-on, not checked baggage. That's standard airline policy for lithium batteries.
